Durrington Multi Academy Trust offers guest network internet access in the form of a wireless "DMAT Guest". Guest WiFi is provided free of charge, for the convenience of visitors conducting business with the trust and it's schools. WiFi use is subject to the terms and conditions below.


Use of DMAT's WiFi for high volume traffic is prohibited. The limited internet service should be used for periodic, low volume access to the internet only, and should not be relied upon as a person's only means of internet access. "DMAT Guest" WiFi is content filtered and certain internet site categories are blocked. DMAT accept no responsibility for the accuracy of the implemented category filtering.


"DMAT Guest" WiFi access is solely for visitors and guests using the school services. Staff and Students of the trust are not permitted to the use of this WiFi network.


DMAT cannot be held responsible for ensuring the privacy of any confidential or financial information patrons may send over the guest WiFi. Guest's must ensure virus and security protection is up to date and the device does not pose a security risk to DMAT or other network connected devices. By connecting to DMAT WiFi, visitors and guests acknowledge DMAT's right to perform a security audit on the connected device. DMAT reserve the right to terminate WiFi access to any devices that do not meet our security requirements.


Information passing through the DHS GUEST network is not encrypted, nor secured, and could be monitored, captured, or altered by others. DMAT disclaims any liability for unauthorised security breaches and encourages all users to adhere to good security practices.


At its sole discretion, DMAT may terminate access to DMAT Guest at anytime, without prior notice.


DMAT assume no responsibility for damage, theft, or loss of user’s equipment, software, data files or other personal property brought into or used on the DHS Guest network.


If DMAT staff is contacted for assistance they will only verify the current operational state of the guest WiFi system. There is no guarantee of access to the DMAT Guest WiFi network at any specific time, at a specific speed, location or with any specific equipment. Service disruptions may occur, and some equipment may be incompatible.


If you do not understand and agree to this Disclaimer and Terms of Use you are not permitted to use this service. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions can lead to loss of network access, suspension of privileges, and/or prosecution.


While using "DMAT Guest", I acknowledge that I am subject to, and agree to abide by all laws, rules and regulations of DMAT, Computer Misuse Act 1990 & General Data Protection Regulation.
