A passcode is a way of protecting your iOS device against unauthorized use. Any device provided to you by the DMAT IT services team must have a passcode. If you have access to emails or remote access on your mobile device this device should have a passcode. To setup a passcode do the following: 


1. Navigate to the settings page on your phone. This is usually the cog icon.

2. Scroll down until you get to the "Security" tab. Click this section.

3. Click the section titled "Screen lock"

4. You can then choose to set a lock screen passcode (On some devices TouchID or Screen Swipe is also available)
