A passcode is a way of protecting your iOS device against unauthorized use. Any device provided to you by the DMAT IT services team must have a passcode. If you have access to emails or remote access on your mobile device this device should have a passcode. To setup a passcode do the following:

1. Open the settings app (Grey cog icon)

2. Scroll down until you see "Passcode" (Please note some devices may call this "Face ID & Passcode" or "Touch ID & Passcode") and click on it

4. Click "Turn passcode on"

5. Enter a six digit passcode. To have a four digit passcode instead click "Passcode options"
